CASE HISTORY SPOTLIGHT: Case History #99: Corrosion Protection of Electrical Cables
A wire manufacturer was experiencing heavy corrosion on copper and aluminum electrical cables transported by sea from northern Europe to Thailand. They decided to try wrapping the cables with VpCI®-126 Film instead of common PE film without corrosion inhibitors. As a result, the cables received excellent protection during the one-month export shipping journey overseas.
