Cor-Pak® Pouches

Using Cortec®’s unique Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibiting (VpCI®) technology, Cor-Pak® 1-MUL and 8- MUL Pouches provide continuous multi-metal corrosion protection in a sealed packaging environment. Cor-Pak® Pouches are manufactured with a breathable, nonwoven fiber fabric, which allows Cortec®’s protective formula to vaporize within the enclosed space and form a molecular barrier on the metal parts inside — including recessed, reticulated, or otherwise hard to reach areas, ensuring continuous, even protection on 100% of the metal’s surface area. Cor-Pak® Pouches are available in 1-MUL and 8-MUL sizes. Cor-Pak® 1-MUL Pouches are approved for military use under NSN #6850-01-470-2737, GSA #8030012081769.

PACKAGING & STORAGE
Cor-Pak® Pouches are available in 1-MUL and 8-MUL sizes. To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight between 40–100°F (4–38° C).

ESD Paper

EcoSonic® ESD Paper powered by Nano VpCI®

Cortec® EcoSonic® ESD Paper combines corrosion inhibiting and static-dissipative properties to provide a complete packaging paper for your valuable items. This product eliminates static electricity buildup through the use of a coating made from soybean oil. EcoSonic® ESD Paper performs better on the static half life test (a test with an environment consisting of little or no humidity) than papers with conventional static-dissipative coatings consisting of alkyl ammonium chlorides, typical ethoxylated amines, typical imidazolines, phosphates esters, and nonionic based anti-static coatings.

The static-dissipative protection from EcoSonic® ESD Paper is also thermally stable in excess of 392 °F (200 °C) and pH stable between 2 and 11 at temperatures in excess of 100 °F (38 °C) for several days. EcoSonic® ESD Paper is fully recyclable/ repulpable, and does not contain any nitrites, phosphates, silicates, or other hazardous compounds.

In addition to its corrosion inhibiting properties, this paper’s shiny moisture-barrier side offers increased water resistance by reducing the paper’s water vapor transfer rate. Its water barrier properties make it an excellent recyclable alternative to typical polycoated and waxed papers.

EcoShield® VpCI®-144 is premium environmentally friendly moisture barrier corrosion inhibiting paper. EcoShield® VpCI® -144 paper provides superior corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and shows excellent oil and grease resistance. Fully recyclable/repulpable. Historically, polyethylene and wax coatings have been used to seal porous paper to provide a moisture barrier and/or moisture-vapor barrier. When coated this way the resulting paper product is an environmental problem and cannot be recycled through normal channels. EcoShield® VpCI®-144 is coated with a water-based barrier coating and has water vapor barrier properties that make it a competitive environmentally friendly alternative to polyethylene and wax paper.
